In the same historic town of kannauj "Lala Debi Prasad Khatri" , after his retirement from provincial police service in year 1870 A.D. with great difficulties but with enthusiasm established perfumery industry on a small scale with small capital in the name & style of debi Prasad sunder lal khatri . formally his two sons lala sunder lal & lala shyam lal khatri already doin this buiseness in the holy town of kashi now called varanasi since samvat 1921 (1865A.D.) . we are really thankfull to almighty that the fruit full tree which was planned by our fore father is doing to complete nearly a century & we are enjoying its ripened fruits . After the death of"Lala Debi Prasad Khatri" his two sons lala sunderlal khatri & lala shyam lal khatri smoothly ran the buiseness at kannauj under the same name & style with its full fledged branches at varanasi in the name & style of lala sunder lal shyam lal khatri which is still running . Here in , after their retirement from the buiseness , their sons lala khunni lal & lala siddh gopal alias lala sukkhi lal managed the buiseness with keen interest . despite the early set back the difficulties , they had to face , lala khunni lal & lala siddh gopal by dint of their genius , courage & unflagging energy succeded in makink their business grow & the factory expanded until it became one of the biggest & most modern Indian perfumes undertaking of its kind in India . the beautiful building of the factory & shop build by them attracted the attention of the visitors to this city from all over India . thus we rose to fame as perfumers .
